Great Books to Read to Infants and Toddlers

Reading together when babies are as young as 4 months old increases the chances that parents continue reading to babies as they become toddlers. The roots of language are developing in the baby's brain even before they can talk. The more words babies and toddlers hear, the more words they will learn. Check out the following books as you begin to read to your infant or continue to read to your toddler. (Taken from "Read Early and Often", Article by Rebecca Parlakian and Sarah S. McGlaughlin/Zero to Three)
